Getting Around New York City
Most of the avenues in New York City have bus services and
the bus stop can be located every two to three blocks .In New
York the buses
are painted with route number and the visitors can locate the
route map to find the bus routes. The visitors to the city can
even arrange for yellow cab or use a coach .Most visitors to
the New York city do not rent a car but the use the Yellow cabs
to move across the city.
The city is served by three airports .
LaGuardia, JFK and Newark. The John F. Kennedy International
Airport. is oldest and it is the city's large international
airport. The airport LaGuardia is small and close to city and it
is mostly used for domestic flights .Both the airports are
located in borough Queens and the third airport used to travel
to New York is Newark that is a cleaner and quieter airport but
it is located in New Jersey .

The taxis in New York City are not allowed
to carry passengers more than four though a small child can sit
on the lap of an older one. The fare of taxi will depend on the
meter readings and for every half a mile the fare increases by
$30 and surcharge is applied in night time travel that is slated
the timing of 8 pm to 6 am. The visitors to the city should
always be ready to give a tip that is taken for granted and even
made compulsory to the visitors. |

To move to places the best way is to go by
walk and you can even use busses to travel to places but you
should be ready with the map and should know directions while
traveling. You can get fun passes called Metro Card for $4 for a
day and for seven days you can get a travel pass for $ 17 , to
travel across the city on buses.
